eLearning Authentication/Access

LBCC has in place effective procedures which ensure that the student who registers for a distance education course or program is the same student who participates in, and completes the course or program and receives the academic credit. Each student that registers for a class at LBCC is given an LBCC generated email address and password. This account grants the student access to LBCC's Learning Management System (Moodle), as well as a suite of Google Apps for Education tools. The account creation is automatic, and these processes are designed to protect student privacy.

Staff

All LBCC staff receive a Moodle account upon being hired and receiving a Google Apps for Education Account.  Many college safety courses are hosted within our Moodle system and are maintained by the Safety and Loss Prevention department.

Instructors that wish to use Moodle for instructional purpsoses should refer to this document on how to get started using Moodle.
