    Linn-Benton Community College welcomes and supports veterans who have served, or are currently serving in the United States Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Please use the links to the left for more information about educational benefits as well as local veterans services.

    VA has founded a National Call Center for Homeless Veterans hotline to ensure that homeless veterans or veterans at risk of homelessness have free, 24/7 access to trained counselors. The hotline is intended to assist homeless veterans and their families; VA medical centers; federal, state and local partners; community agencies; service providers; and others in the community.

    New Students

    You are encouraged to do the following in order to get credit for your military experience.

    1. Apply as a Degree Seeking student

    2. Submit your form DD214 to Admissions and Registration and you will receive credit for course PE 231 (3 credits)

    3. Have your SMART or AART transcripts sent to LBCC and let us know they are coming by completing this form.

    4. Complete placement tests if needed, and start watching your mail and email for information about what to do next.
