For information about applying to the program, please refer to the "Occupational Therapy Assistant" Bulletin and Application located here, under the "Special Admission" heading. After reading the bulletin, if you are interested in applying as a traditional LBCC student, please contact the Academic Planning Assistant; if you are interested in applying as a distance-education student through one of our partner community colleges, please contact that college's OTA program advisor as listed in the bulletin.
Prospective students should also complete the online orientation prior to meeting with their advisor. The orientation may take 30-45 minutes to complete, so make sure you have sufficient time before starting.

After being accepted into the program, students will be assigned to one of the full-time OTA faculty for academic advising. Faculty advisor contact information and links to their instructor websites can be found on the faculty page.
Because advisors are also faculty, their availability for advising will be limited and very specific. Please come prepared so that advisors can quickly and more accurately answer your questions.
Classes in the OTA program are taught only once per year. Download the Course Curriculum to see when courses are being offered.
