Congratulations to sophomore guard Courteney Landis, who recently signed with Notre Dame de Namur University (in Belmont, CA) to continue her basketball career at the next level! We're very excited for Courteney, and proud of this well-deserved accomplishment after all the hard work she's put in. Roadrunners don't just stay on the ground - they fly high! Good job, Courteney!

Lady Roadrunners Ink New Recruits for 2017-18 Season

Maddy Oakden

We are so excited Madeline chose Linn-Benton to pursue her basketball and academic interests. Maddy will graduate this June from Clackamas HS in Clackamas, OR. She played on the varsity team all four years in high school and was a starting guard for the Cavaliers since her sophomore year. Maddy averaged 8 points, 3 assists, and 4 rebounds per game her senior year, and was honored as a member of the Mt. Hood 6A League Honorable Mention Team. Welcome to the Roadrunner family, Maddy!

Megan Ely

Megan Ely, a 6’2” post player, comes to LBCC from Vernonia High School in Vernonia, OR. She earned 1st team All Northwest League honors, averaging 12 points and 10 rebounds per game. We will look to Megan to provide that extra presence and force inside. Her work ethic and great character will set a good example of the culture we want to exemplify in Roadrunner Nation. Welcome Megan, and best wishes for a great career at Linn-Benton!

Maggie Cochran

Welcome Maggie Cochran, a 5’9” wing from St. Helens, OR. As a varsity player her freshman through junior years, she was able to showcase her talents and grab the interest of our coaching staff. Maggie has worked extremely hard to get back to full strength and physical health after suffering a season-ending knee injury at the beginning of her senior year. We are looking forward to Maggie getting the opportunity to display her skills in her new blue and gold LB uniform this fall. Welcome, Maggie!
