Family Fun Day

Family Fun Day attracted hundreds of young children from across Linn and Benton counties for a day of fun activities, good food, and lots of prizes!  Putt Putt Golf, the Bouncy Castle, the Pinewood Derby track, the Pirate Maze, and Basketball Bowling gave kids lots of physical activity and excitement, while the Face Painting, Play Dough, Foam Peanut Sculptures, Tattoos, and Crown Making allowed them to enjoy the fun of arts and crafts.  There was also a wide selection of books and toys for sale, and the concessions stand provided lots of delicious snacks and beverages.

At the end of the day, prizes were drawn for the more than 50 items that were donated by local companies and individuals.  Below is a list of the donors who helped make Family Fun Day such a success:

This annual fundraising event helps to build the Parent Education Grant Fund, which provides partial tuition for parent education classes.  This year over $6,000 was raised, and we can't express enough how grateful we are for the support of this community, LBCC, and our extended family of volunteers, instructors, staff and families.
