Federal Perkins Loan Counseling Sessions
Before you receive your Federal Perkins Student Loan, you must
complete a Perkins Entrance Counseling Session. You must also return your
fully completed Master Promissory Note and Personal and Confidential form to the Student Loan
Specialist located in the Linn-Benton Community College (LBCC) Business Office, Room CC-130D.
The U.S. Department of Education requires all students who receive a Federal Perkins Loan
complete Exit Counseling when they cease to be enrolled at least half-time at the instituiton.
If this is your last term at LBCC or if you have dropped below half-time status you must complete the Exit
Counseling Session. Students who do not complete their exit requirement will have a HOLD placed on LBCC
services.
If you are unable to complete your counseling session on-line, contact the LBCC Loan
Specialist at (541) 917-4301 to schedule an individual appointment.
